Merritt College's Landscape Horticulture Department offers a variety of landscape horticulture programs such as: Nursery Management, Basic Landscape Horticulture, Cannabis Production, Arboriculture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design and Construction, Permaculture Design, Basic Landscape Horticulture, Landscape and Parks Maintenance.
In particular, the Land Hort Department has a host of nursery management courses... Plant Propagation, Soil Management, Plant Nutrition, Insects, Plant Diseases and Their Control, Nursery Management, Crop Production, Marketing and Sales, and several plant ID classes to name a few. |
Merritt Landscape Horticulture Department's courses are offered online, during the day and evening, as well as fee-based classes on selected Saturdays. This flexible schedule allows students to work towards a certificate or degree, or take course(s) for pleasure and/or personal development.
