Merritt College's Landscape Horticulture Department offers a variety of landscape horticulture programs such as: Nursery Management, Basic Landscape Horticulture, Cannabis Production, Arboriculture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design and Construction, Permaculture Design, Basic Landscape Horticulture, Landscape and Parks Maintenance.
In particular, the Land Hort Department has a host of nursery management courses like: Beginning Plant Propagation; Soil Management; Plant Nutrition; Insects: Identification & Management; Plant Diseases and Their Control; Nursery Management; Crop Production, Marketing and Sales; Introduction to Cannabis Production; and several plant ID classes to name a few. |
Merritt Landscape Horticulture Department's courses are offered online, during the day and evening, as well as fee-based classes on selected Saturdays. This flexible schedule allows students to work towards a certificate or degree, or take course(s) for pleasure and/or personal development.
