Description: Heirloom Italian kale. Cool weather crop. Crinkly, bluish-green leaves. Nutritious. Mild, sweet taste. Braise, sauté, steam, add to soups.
Harvest time: 68-70 days to maturity. Lengthy harvest. Harvest once kale plant has 6 or more leaves. Pick outer leaves first, saving the rest. When the plant has grown more leaves, harvest again. Plant a spring crop for a summer harvest, or a late summer crop for fall & winter harvest.
