Lifespan: Perennial, evergreen shrub

Origin: South Africa

Height/width: 6-8’ tall, 4-5’ wide

Culture: Full sun to part shade. Moderate-low water. Drought tolerant. Well-drained soil, sandy soil okay. Heat, poor soil tolerant. Hardy to 20-25°F.

Description: Variegated leaves green center, cream colored margin with pinkish tinge. Tiny cream flowers. Red stems. Round form. Tough, slow to moderate growth. Can handle being sheared. Stump sprouts. Great as a low hedge, foundation plant, topiary, cut foliage, in a container, for erosion control. Subs for boxwood. Possibly poisonous. Smog resistant.
